My name is Piotr Gumola. I am a sworn translator of English and French entered in the Register of Sworn Translators kept by the Minister of Justice under number TP/103/14.

I completed post-graduate studies in Specialist, Legal and Certified Translation in English at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies in Translation Training (IPSKT) at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw in French. At present, I teach 

I have also completed a number of specialist training courses in professional translation.

I have been working as translator and interpreter for over 25 years.

I am a member of the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialised Translators and the Lublin Association of Translators.

I have worked with the C.H. Beck publishing house for which I performed translations and adaptations of legislative acts (The Code of Administrative Procedure, The Construction Law).

Je m’appelle Piotr Gumola. Je suis traducteur-interprète assermenté d’anglais et de français inscrit sur la liste des traducteurs-interprètes assermentés tenue par le Ministre de la Justice sous le numéro TP/103/14.

Afin de me doter d’un savoir-faire précieux dans le domaine de la traduction spécialisée, j’ai suivi des études supérieures en traduction spécialisée, juridique et certifiée en anglais au SWPS Humanities et des études supérieures interdisciplinaires en formation de traduction (IPSKT) à la Faculté de Linguistique Appliquée de l’Université de Varsovie en français.

J’ai également suivi de nombreuses autres formations en matière de traduction.

J’exerce la profession de traducteur-interprète depuis plus de 25 ans.

Je suis membre de l’Association Polonaise des Traducteurs-Interprètes Assermentés et Spécialisés et de l’Association des Traducteurs de Lublin

Je coopère avec la maison d’édition C.H. Beck, pour laquelle j’ai effectué des traductions et des vérifications d’actes juridiques (The Code of Administrative Procedure, The Construction Law).

Nazywam się Piotr Gumola. Jestem tłumaczem przysięgłym języka angielskiego i francuskiego wpisanym na listę tłumaczy przysięgłych prowadzoną przez ministra sprawiedliwości pod numerem TP/103/14.

W zakresie tłumaczeń specjalistycznych ukończyłem studia podyplomowe z tłumaczeń specjalistycznych, prawniczych i uwierzytelnionych z języka angielskiego na Uniwersytecie Humanistycznospołecznym SWPS oraz Interdyscyplinarne Podyplomowe Studium Kształcenia Tłumaczy (IPSKT) na Wydziale Lingwistyki Stosowanej Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego z języka francuskiego.

Ukończyłem również szereg szkoleń specjalistycznych z zakresu tłumaczeń.

Pracę tłumacza wykonuję od ponad 25 lat.

Jestem członkiem Polskiego Towarzystwa Tłumaczy Przysięgłych i Specjalistycznych oraz Lubelskiego Stowarzyszenia Tłumaczy

Współpracuję z wydawnictwem C.H. Beck, dla którego wykonywałem tłumaczenia i weryfikacji aktów prawnych (The Code of Administrative Procedure, The Construction Law).

Aktualnie prowadzę również warsztaty z przedmiotu Discours juridique w Instytucie Lingwistyki Stosowanej Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego dla studentów studiów zaocznych przygotowujących się do egzaminu dającego uprawnienia tłumacza przysięgłego.  

Współpracuję z zaprzyjaźnionymi tłumaczami i wykładowcami, z którymi wspólnie realizujemy inspirujące projekty tłumaczeniowe i szkoleniowe.
